| Dear Community:
My name is Roland Daemon, Real name is Max. I write this
letter and have and will be posting this on all of the five forums
that I Considered my home and happiness away from the things that
sucks in life. I write this in the hope that something can rise
from the ashes that has seemingly plagued and divided the greatest
of people i've known.
I plead with all of you to stop this immaturity. I joined
this server with the full belief that everyone should be treated
equal, and that all within it would treat each other as such.
Note: This doesn't mean you can't treat each other like shit,
which is going to happen anywhere and anytime. RESPECT, is the
key word here, and it's the only thing i'm putting some blind
faith into, even if I know it's a bad idea. I trusted and still
trust alot of people within this community, even if these people
are at each others throat. This really does upset me, because I
believe that we should be over this childish nonsense, instead, we
should be looking forward. Some big shit happened, it divided and conquered all of
us, but what poeple did exaserbated it beyond a level that just
made it get completely out of have. Our opinions and beliefs, our
questions and concerns, they are completely valid and should be
voiced, but so much blaming and point fingers is what caused
everything just crash when the management shift changed.
What are we left with?
We are left with a community divided. A community that can't even talk to each other with some
diginity and respect without having some FUCKING PICTURE
((LOLUMAD)) being spread around, trying to continue this childish
BULLSHIT. A community, that I want back A home... I want back...
I have been talking, listening, watching everything unfold
from a point of the community. I supported what was DG did. Why?
because I believed they had the best interests for the community.
Did I support how they had gone about it? not really, but
sometimes big actions need to be taken to get what needs to be
done.
I have come to the conclusion so far, and I am not the
only one.
We need to come back together.
There is only one way we can do this, and that is putting
all this stuff aside and settings some facts straight.
Fug is no more, nor is DG. Those both Died the day the
forums were taken down, along with the servers.
I've been talking to Eldredd for alittle bit, trying to
ask questions, and figuring more things out. During the
conversation i've had with him tonight, the one thing struck me as
something that we ALL need to take to heart.
Eldredd: I'm over the whole thing honestly.. Eldredd: No more blame, it's not necessary.. Eldredd: LikeI keep telling everyone.. Eldredd: I'll work with anybody, I'll talk to anyone.. Everyone needs to take this to heart. You can hate what
happened, you can do whatever the hell you want, but DO NOT let
this get away from your hearts.
We need to work together to bring out communities back,
but we must approach each other on a level of basic respect, like
what were taught back in 2nd grade.
Not this immature shit we've been shooting towards each
other for the past three days.
My Message is clear, and hopefully as a neutral party,
this can be something received as a peace offering of SOME kind.
Let's patch things up, create what this community had ment
to me in the first place.
A place of Respect A place anyone could call home
"A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet"
It won't be Fug's, but we can band together again, and
create something just as magical as it was, if not better.
I'd also like to mention, Eldredd wants everyone to know,
that the RoF forums are NOT DG, it is a neutral forum. They are
his forums and anyone is welcome, under the guidelines that
everyone is respected and can talk. He is in no way putting me up to this message, i'm doing this on a whim that the community will understand that DG is dead, and that the RoF forums are a place of peace. I am no one's bitch, never have been.
I thank you for reading my letter, and pray that something
can come of this, but it is up to everyone to get past their
differences, and work together to re-create what we had.
~Roland Daemon

| I have been talking to Eldredd myself. I have been talking to Snood. I have been talking to the Republic.
The general consensus I've gotten is a desire to be separate but allied. I am aware that people have been being assholes. SMG admins giving ban on sight orders for anyone from DG, the firm telling its members not to use any of our servers, lolumad everytwhere. But I am not aware that anyone sporting the GPRoC tag has been causing trouble but if they have been I will talk to them.
As you said, Fug, as we knew it, is dead. But contrary to what I believe you're saying we will never again be one big happy family. We will be a collection of small happy families that visit each other for tea occasionally and send each Christmas cards. Fug will become something knew, RoF will become something new, SMG and Fug will become something new. We will be connected, but we will not be the same thing we were. I thank you for your concerns and I hope we can all get along and branch out to fill our respective niches.
As a final note. Use Open Office to write notes.

I just don't want people to angry anymore. And I know no one here has been doing anything bad, I just know that you guys were part of this community, so I Figured i'd post here as well. Thanks for atleast listening and responding with respect, I Really appreciate that.

| I agree with you totally roland. there needs to be a level of respect for all parties involved. i realize that both fug and DG are dead. I hope everybody else will realize that over time. I personally want to see the community come back together, at least in some way. somewhere where all of us can hang regardless of what people you affiliate yourselfs with or if your neutral.
Fug was a second home almost. This community shall not die as long as we stay in touch. we may play on separate servers but we are all one big family. And you never know, maybe in the future we can all be under the same name again!

| Agreed Roland. Yes, the community we fell in loved may have separated and this may seem like the end, but it isn't. Just like OP said, GPRoC will be connected with all communities in a friendly manner. We are not here to make a side, but to offer a place where people from anywhere can hang and enjoy life. Thats all we are looking for, and we hope it'll stay like that | |

I'm so happy that this all happened when I'm at my busiest. This is ridiculous. - Quote :

Does this mean we get two Christmases?

| I would like to personally say that I have no idea where the thing about SMG's ban on site policy came from. It's not in effect, and to my knowledge it wasn't.
I heard about banning on site, and I quickly went to the other admins FULLY PREPARED TO RAGE. By RAGE I mean rage. You've never seen that from me, but I'm more than capable. When I went to them they told me that they weren't actually doing it, and that they hadn't been. I'm not sure where this stems from. It is possible that one admin had at one point decided to do this (I have no idea who, if it happened), but while I'm around I will not allow it.
And Roland, I agree. In fact, I'd like to do even more with the reconstruction effort. The leaders of all of the refugee communities (face it, that's what we are) will be coming together soon as per OP's suggestion and seeing what we can come up with.
